Wild bird, cat and dog feeding. Done
Dog walking (three dogs). Done (morning and evening).
Washing. Done.
Washing put on line, taken off line (rain started) and put on line again (rain stopped).
Newspapers and essential supplies collected from nearest village (round trip six miles).
Etc., etc., etc . . .
Bank Holiday? What Bank Holiday? What time's Coronation Street on? It's all I'm good for.

Well done on the completion of the list of jobs DONE. I've done a massive amount of ironing, so we've sufficient clean clothes for the next couple of weeks. I now have to put it all away and also tidy the linen cupboard ... but I felt it was a Job Well Done and a much better way of spending my time than sitting in the car on the motorway. We tend to Stay At Home on Bank Holidays ... just the opposite of what they were originally intended for; for days out for the workers!
Love that Vermeer painting. Well, love all his paintings. He's my v. favourite painter. And top of the list is his View of Delft.

You should have tried The Flood - so exhausting a little light laundry would have seemed like recreation. (I LOOOAAAATTTTHHHHEE laundry...)
Came here via Exmoorjane - a real, as well as virtual, friend. Have to say I find your verification things hard to read, yikes, am getting old!

Sorry about the verification thingies Milla -blame it on Typepad, who power the blog. But I'll feed back your comments to them; you never know they may be listening.
Re laundry; I loathe all things domestic ie housework. Cooking's OK though - that's bit more creative - but I wouldn't want to do it day in, day out. One of the joys of living alone is that I don't have to . . .
