The trouble with friends is that they know exactly the sort of thing that will distract you. So, when Juliet at Musings from a Muddy Island wrote about the Sorted Books Project, she knew that some of us would not be able to resist. Even those of us who are normally challenge resistant.
Have a look at the Muddy Island version first and then the Random Distractions one to see what they came up with.
A quick scan of a few of the many piles of books at 60 Going On 16 Mansions lead to this Armageddon-like sequence (reading from top to bottom):
But if that is just too doom laden for you, try a little domestic fallout instead:
And then you might want to see what previously unimagined links exist on your bookshelves. Don't forget to tell Mrs Muddy Island about it because there's a competition, and a vote, and a prize and all.
(What's more, this sort of thing is very good for the ageing brain. Apparently.)

If you are like me, D, you are now scanning all your bookshelves to see what links you can make. More fun than some of the book challenges I've avoided.

Fabulous stories, D. Thanks for being such a good sport and sooooo easily distracted. I plan to waste my entire evening putting together some more!

I've been thinking about this all day! I should do it. I loved yours.

Oh, those are funny! LOL!
It's a bit late right now (It's after one in the morning) but I'm going to see if I can come up with anything tomorrow! :)

I should be digging holes in the garden today, but guess what I'll be doing instead....
My aging brain needs all the help it can get and a book sorting will be such fun.

This is just fantastic - its like painting with books, making collages with titles.
